Questions people ask

Does venting anger help?

Research suggests it tends to keep anger going. Calming down, taking a break or distracting yourself usually works better.

Is memory reliable?

It’s reconstructive: rebuilt each time you recall it. Memories can change and still feel certain, which is why eyewitness testimony can go wrong.

Do opposites attract?

Mostly not. Studies find people tend to choose partners who are similar to them.
